The Ballygrant InnA friendly and welcoming hotel on the way from Port Askaig. Excellent "curry nights" once every month or so on a Saturday.
Scottish Tourist BoardProbably the best place to start if looking for accommodation in Scotland in general and Islay in particular. All accommodation listed has been inspected and graded by the Board.
Association of Scottish Self-CaterersExcellent site for self-catering accommodation elsewhere in Scotland. membership of a quality assurance scheme is a condition of membership.

RSPB (Argyll & Bute)The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds site contains information about the two bird Reserves on Islay at Loch Gruinart and Upper Killeyan on The Oa.
